Tip #1 – Enhance Your Favorite Face Features
What are the features you love about yourself? Do you have gorgeous big eyes? Plump lips? Great cheekbones? Whatever you love about yourself, we want to play that up and enhance it. Be ready to share your favorite natural features with your makeup artist!
If you love your eyes, we want to choose eye shadow colors and lashes that emphasize your eyes. If you love your lips and want a bold, classic look, we will use lipstick and gloss that will last all day and all night.
Tip #2 – Look for Natural Bridal Makeup Inspriation
Spend some time on Google and Pinterest looking up some bridal makeup looks. When looking through photos you will start to get a sense of what appeals to you. Save the photos you love to share.
Pay close attention to the features you love like eye makeup or lips. This will help you create a vision for natural-looking makeup for yourself. Bring your pictures to your trial and share with your makeup artist what you like.
Tip #3 Communicate Your Vision
Communication with your makeup artist is so important! We always recommend a trial for this reason. This gives us plenty of time to try different looks, get feedback, and figure out what looks best on you!
If you don’t like something it’s best to ask about it! When you aren’t all dressed up in your wedding gown sometimes it’s hard to see how it will all look together. On camera and in formal wear, the makeup will help complete the look.
